In our effort to provide education for counselors and mental health professionals on Queer and Trans people, we have dedicated a part of our website to providing information on more basic concepts, such as definitions and pronouns that can be shared with others. Our Research and Scholarship Committee develops these resources and creates and maintains these resources.

Terminology

Because language evolves and science progresses, the terminology describing Queer and Trans populations has changed frequently.
