This committee is responsible for creating, editing, and publishing content for and from our members, presented in various ways.
Conference Committee
This committee plans the events at the annual ACA conference and the annual SAIGE conference.
Education Committee
This committee plans the webinars, facilitates the webinars, manages the online courses, and the Rainbow Certification.
Emerging Leaders
This committee chooses the 3 Emerging Leaders for each year and participates in mentoring events and experiences.
Graduate Student
This committee assesses the supports Queer, Trans, and Ally Graduate Students need and helps to create these supports.
Membership & State Branches
This committee assesses the needs of members, supports members, provides continual outreach and recruits new members. They also support state branches as they work to be created and maintained.
Public Policy
This committee responds to institutional and legislative LGBTGEQIAP+ rights and multicultural issues, connects to ACA and other divisions within their responses, and supports states as they work to promote human rights within their state legislation.
Queer & Trans People of Color
This committee serves as an advisory council to the Board, using their wisdom from their multiple intersecting identities. They also plan social events and safe spaces at the annual and biannual conferences.
Rainbow Run
This committee plans and supervises the annual Rainbow Run at the ACA conference. A portion of the proceeds is donated to a local LGBTGEQIAP+ organization in the conference host city.
Research & Scholarship
This committee reviews applications for the annual Research and grant awards, as well as finds, critiques, and provides resources for our members in their work as counselors.
Technology & Resource
This committee maintains our website, our social media accounts, and our resources page.
